Supported compatibilities

Here you can find the list of plugins and themes for which Optimole has built-in special compatibilities.

  • Beaver Builder
    • Beaver Builder offloads the CSS in a separate file, which we access and process the image urls;
  • Elementor
    • In order to let Optimole replace the images in your Elementor pages, you will need to go to Elementor -> Tools -> General and click Regenerate files for the images to be processed.
  • Divi
    • We disable Optimole while you are building your pages using Divi, in order to not interfere with the images until your page is ready
  • Thrive
    • We disable Optimole while you are building your pages using Thrive, in order to not interfere with the images until your page is ready
  • Metaslider
    • We disabled the lazyload for images in sliders created by Metaslider, since the slider has his own built-in lazyload and we do not add the noscript tag for images in this slider.
  • Slider Revolution
    • We obtained a better interaction with Slider Revolution by disabling our classical lazyload for the background sliders created by it, while we use the new background lazyload feature.
  • Smart Slider 3
    • Smart Slider 3 saves urls in schema-less format by default, in order to have your images processed by Optimole you need to disable the following option from Smart Slider 3 -> Settings -> Framework -> Use protocol-relative URL.
  • Master Slider
    • We exclude from lazyload a blank gif image Master Slider is using before a slide image is loaded so we do not interfere with the slider behaviour while we optimize your images
  • Essential Grid
  • This is true for all the above-mentioned plugins and themes
  • Cache Enabler
    • We hook into the cached content saved by Cache Enabler and make sure we optimize your images from it
  • Envira
    • We target the different src attribute contained by the images in the gallery so we can optimize those images
  • Foogallery
    • We target the different src attribute contained by the images in the gallery so we can optimize those images
  • Shortcode Ultimate
    • Shortcode Ultimate uses a strange image resizing feature which has by default the hard cropping on. As we are following the WordPress image size defaults, change the default cropping for shortcode's output.

Known compatibilities

  • Wonder Slider
    • To fix the problem, in Wonder Slider: Edit the slider; in step 3 Options tab > Advanced Options, add the following code to the Data Options input box, it will tell the slider to use the normal image link. data-lazyloadtags="opt-src". The code needs to be added to all sliders.
