Why Optimole does not optimize all the images from my site ?
The first thing that you need to know is that Optimole is optimizing the images when someone checks them, i.e when someone views them on your site. Is not something done offline, all the processing is done on the fly. More details about this you can learn here.
However, if for some reason, when you check your site, only a few or none of them are being optimized, you might need to check those things:
- Are you using a caching plugin or does your hosting provide something like this? If so, make sure to clear the cache after connecting Optimole to your site.
- Are you using Elementor on your site? If so, make sure to go to WordPress admin area -> Elementor -> Tools and Regenerate the CSS from the plugin. Some images are linked into your Elementor generated CSS files, which Optimole can only process when you re-create them. This needs to be done only once after you have connected the plugin.
- Are you using Beaver Builder on your site? If so, you will need to go to Settings > Beaver Builder > Tools and click on Clear cache. Some images are linked into your Beaver's generated CSS files, which Optimole can only process when you re-create them. This needs to be done only once after you have connected the plugin.
- Are you using Divi on your site? If so, you will need to go to Divi > Theme Options > Builder > Advanced > Static CSS File Generation and click on Clear. Some images are linked into your Divi's generated CSS files, which Optimole can only process when you re-create them. This needs to be done only once after you have connected the plugin.
- Do you have CDN setup already on your site, for the images? If so, make sure to whitelist the CDN address in your dashboard by going to the Whitelist page.
If none of those does solve your issue, you can always ask for help on from support team.
